Paukkulakoti is a 74-bed 24-hour residential service unit for the elderly, consisting of 54 24-hour assisted living places and 20 rehabilitative short-term care places. The unit is located near the center of Salo. The Charge Nurse's work is primarily based in three 24-hour assisted living group homes, but development work is carried out jointly across the entire unit. The role combines client work with administrative tasks agreed upon with the supervisor. The Charge Nurse works in close cooperation with the Charge Nurse for short-term care. Your tasks You will guide and organize daily nursing work and participate in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and communication of client-centered care in accordance with plans, agreements, and guidelines. You will play a key role in ensuring the well-being and safety of residents. You are responsible for ensuring the quality of nursing care and identifying development and competence needs using, among other things, HaiPro and client feedback. You will participate in the creation and implementation of self-monitoring and medication plans, utilize the RAI assessment tool, and be involved in the unit's quality work. You are responsible for the overall practical medication management of the unit and serve as the medication lead. When necessary, you will also act as a deputy for the unit supervisor. We require a valid LOVe medication permit or its completion immediately upon the start of employment. Additionally, you need good IT skills and fluent oral and written proficiency in Finnish. The eligibility requirement is the legalization and registration of a nurse in accordance with the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994).
