We are seeking two cooks for the Amarillo Rovaniemi kitchen for the winter season 2026–2027 in a fixed-term contract of 75 hours / 3 weeks, from October to March. The role lasts until the end of March. The winter season brings guests to Amarillo Rovaniemi from near and far. As a cook, you contribute to smooth and memorable restaurant experiences in an international environment as part of our energetic and skilled kitchen team. The versatile Amarillo cook role includes our classic dishes, such as burgers and Tex Mex items. In our kitchen we work together towards common goals, without compromising on quality, with a light touch. Our kitchen team is lively, cheerful and humorous, and new colleagues are warmly welcomed. You may be an experienced cook, career changer, or still studying in a cooking school. We will train you thoroughly to Amarillo’s kitchen processes, tasks and practices. A formal qualification or long experience is not required, but education and previous cooking experience are considered an advantage. What matters most to us is a good attitude, willingness to learn, and motivation to produce quality work with the team. The role also suits a cook student and a cook-in-school student; apprenticeship training for the fixed-term period is possible in cooperation with REDU. We value collaboration, responsibility, and the ability to perform well even in hectic moments. Shifts are mainly evening-focused, with flexibility for varying shifts. According to the Tourism, Restaurant and Leisure Services collective agreement, the hourly wage is 13.70 €/h–15.04 €/h, influenced by your experience and education, plus shift allowances.
