We are looking for a support worker (practical nurse) for a permanent employment relationship at the Virrenkulma residential unit. As a support worker at the residential unit, you will support clients’ everyday lives and wellbeing according to their individual needs. Your duties include guiding and assisting clients with household tasks, meals, personal healthcare and errands outside the home. The work also includes care work and supporting clients’ functional ability as part of everyday life. The role requires interaction and teamwork skills and a client-oriented approach. Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities is useful but not required. We will provide an induction. Employment information: Duration: Permanent, starting 02.11.2026 or as agreed Employment type: Full-time Employment relationship: Employment contract Eligibility requirement: Practical nurse (qualification and right to use the relevant protected occupational title under section 3 of Act 817/2015 or section 5 of Act 559/1994) Number of positions: 1 Working time details: Period-based working time, shift-like work Required checks and permits: The selected person must provide a criminal record extract under section 28 of the Act on the Supervision of Social Welfare and Health Care (741/2023) for work with older people and people with disabilities. The role requires vaccination protection under section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis assessment under section 55. The selected person’s credit information will be checked. The successful candidate must provide an acceptable occupational health certificate on their state of health. Position-specific salary: €2,625.31/month, plus a possible supplement based on previous work experience.
