Job Description
We are seeking a REGISTERED NURSE for the elderly care unit at Tolppamäki in Eura. You are the right candidate if you want to do meaningful work with older adults. Tolppamäki has 26 resident places. Our operations are based on residents' resources, providing comprehensive care until the end of life. We aim to offer residents a life that reflects their preferences and support their daily functioning and social contacts. As a nurse, you will be responsible for assessing residents' care needs, administering and monitoring medication, and serving as a care expert within a multidisciplinary team. The work is responsible and meaningful, allowing you to utilize your skills to ensure residents' daily well-being. The work involves two shifts. We use autonomous shift planning. Orientation is tailored to your needs, and you will receive support from the entire work community and supervisor. To qualify for the nurse position, you must have a license as a registered nurse in accordance with the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994). Professional competence must be verifiable (Licensing and Supervision Authority). Original employment and educational certificates will be checked during the interview. Previous experience in elderly care is an advantage. We also value good teamwork skills, independence, decision-making ability, and flexibility. The working language is Finnish, so fluent spoken and written Finnish skills are required. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on Background Checks of Persons Working with the Elderly (741/2023, Section 28). The position is filled permanently. A six-month probation period applies. Terms of employment and salary are based on the SOTE agreement. The monthly salary for a nurse in elderly care services is 2900.75 euros. Applications are primarily submitted electronically via the TalentAdore system.
