Hardware Engineer, Tampere - Academic Work

As an HW Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical specification, design, and analysis of electronic circuit boards, as well as their verification and validation for demanding satellite systems. You will play a key role throughout the entire hardware development lifecycle, translating system-level requirements into functional block and module-level solutions, and further into detailed circuit diagrams. Work tasks include technical specification and design of circuit boards (HW design), analysis, verification, and validation of electronic solutions, refinement of system-level requirements into feasible design solutions, management and documentation of requirement specifications at a high quality level, collaboration with system designers and other stakeholders to ensure optimal subsystem operation, and expert support for the team and mentoring of junior members. We are looking for strong expertise in electronic design and circuit board development, experience in requirement-based design and documentation, ability to understand the big picture and break down complex problems into manageable parts, good collaboration and communication skills, willingness to share knowledge and support team development, and fluent Finnish and English language skills.
