General Practitioner

We at Terveystalo do important work: health. We are seeking General Practitioners to join units in Lapua, Kauhava, and Alajärvi. The units are small and warm places with a close-knit community. You will have support from a designated physician and expert lead (Katja) who handles orientation and smooth daily work. Duties include appointment-based care for occupational health, private, and insurance customers; participation in a 65+ freedom-of-choice pilot; and efforts to improve accessibility to health services, empower patient choice, and relieve public health system burden. We provide thorough orientation, a training package, and collegial professional guidance. You may work in one or more units in South Ostrobothnia with the option for part-time or full-time work and partial remote work. Clinics offer general and specialty medical services, occupational health, laboratory testing, and imaging (per unit). Hours are Mon–Thu 8–16, Fri 8–14. We emphasize humane, patient-centered care and continuous development, with strong emphasis on teamwork, leadership, and continuous education. You must be a legally licensed physician in Finland and have prior independent patient-contact experience. Interested?
