We are currently seeking a school assistant for special education and intensive special education. The duties of the school assistant include supporting and assisting students in all daily activities, such as washing, meals, school transport, and possible care procedures. The work of a school assistant is physical and requires a readiness to work with children. The position requires the ability to communicate using alternative communication methods, such as supported signing and various communication aids. Close cooperation is maintained with guardians as well as parties providing care and rehabilitation for the student. As a school assistant, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of the class and school that supports students' growth, development, and learning. Working in a school environment means you will not be alone; you will have colleagues present and the support of the team. Close joint planning and collaboration are an integral part of everyday life. The work of a school assistant is immensely valuable. Our school is located near the ring rail line and is surrounded by a large forest area, which we utilize extensively to expand our learning environment. Considered an advantage: Experience working with children with disabilities The terms of employment are determined in accordance with the Municipal General Government and Collective Agreement (KVTES). Salary: 2490.75 eur/month. Additionally, a possible supplement based on previous work experience.
