Control-M Specialist Position Description CGI is one of the largest IT and business consulting companies in Finland and worldwide. Control-M Specialist We are looking for a Control-M Specialist to strengthen our Global Technology Operations service production team. In this role, you will work with business-critical batch jobs and automated workflows and contribute to the functionality, maintenance and development of Control-M environments. Your duties include: • Monitoring and managing batch jobs and job chains • Investigating batch-job exceptions and incidents • Handling service disruptions and related communications • Implementing new batch jobs and job-chain configurations • Implementing temporary and permanent changes to job chains • Control-M Administrator duties • Installing, maintaining and upgrading Control-M Agent and Server components • Maintaining batch-job configurations and other technical documentation • Processing service requests • Participating in implementation projects and change management, and continuously developing the environments You will work in a varied infrastructure environment and collaborate with other technical specialists, service teams and stakeholders. The role is onsite at the Helsinki office. What we expect from you We expect strong hands-on experience with BMC Control-M environments and the ability to work independently in Control-M Administrator duties. In particular, the role requires: • At least two years of experience working with Control-M environments • Control-M administration and maintenance skills • Experience with batch jobs, job chains and scheduling, and managing their dependencies • Familiarity with Control-M Agent and Server components • Familiarity with Control-M add-on modules and integrations • Experience with Windows, Unix and Linux environments • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and FTP, SFTP and SSL technologies • Experience investigating incidents and solving problems in production environments • Excellent collaboration skills, an organised working style and the ability to prioritise • Initiative, an interest in solving technical problems and a desire to develop environments and practices over the long term • Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English The work is onsite at the Helsinki Karvaamokuja office, so the selected person must be present at the office.
