Roosaliina Kindergarten has six groups, and our daily activities are enriched by a large yard, a bright gym, and an atelier. We are well-located near the Sello shopping center, making it easy to commute and convenient to visit nearby nature and cultural sites. We are an open, positive, development-oriented, and community-minded work community where collegial support is a natural part of our daily life. A second early childhood education social worker joined our team in August. You will start your work in the under-3s group, where you will work in close cooperation with the group's early childhood education teacher and childcare worker. The group's daily routine is built on doing things together, sensitive encounters, noticing strengths, and immersing oneself in the child's world. Our priorities at the unit level are movement, excursions, and children's participation. At Roosaliina, activities are based on values that are not just words but are visible in our daily actions: kindness, well-being, humor, playfulness, and inclusion are central. We implement these through community events, village games, small well-being moments, and our open discussion culture. You are not alone in your work; you are supported by your team, the kindergarten director and assistant director, as well as lveo and kieku. Our staff is united by a sensitive approach and a respectful encounter with every child, family, and colleague. As an early childhood education social worker, you will work in a children's group in education and care tasks. Together with other professionals, you are responsible for the implementation of the group's activities, particularly from the perspective of the child's well-being, participation, and resources. Your role emphasizes the core expertise of a social worker: educational cooperation with families, supporting the child's social growth, and ensuring the timeliness of early support for the child and family from a family services perspective. Observation, documentation, and the continuous evaluation and development of activities are integral parts of your work. We hope you bring valuable social pedagogical expertise to our work community. You will perform meaningful educational cooperation with guardians, support peer activities for families, and participate in building preventive support at the everyday level. What we offer you: - a warm, encouraging, and humorous work community - the opportunity to develop and utilize your special expertise as a social worker - strong support from your team, supervisors, and experts in your daily work - space to influence, brainstorm, and develop the operational culture together - inspirational work where every day is meaningful!
