Head Chef - Osuma Henkilöstöpalvelut - Kuusamo, Finland

We are looking for a head chef for our client company BASE Eat & Heat restaurant in Ruka, for a permanent full-time position. The work is full-time and will start according to agreement in October-November. The salary is negotiable based on your previous experience. As a head chef, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant kitchen. You will ensure that daily work proceeds as planned, service runs smoothly, and the quality of dishes remains high in all situations. You will act as the supervisor of kitchen staff, participate in personnel planning, and ensure the team has the resources to succeed. Additionally, you will be responsible for menu development, raw material procurement planning, and inventory management. You will also monitor financial indicators such as costs and waste, and ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and self-monitoring regulations and practices. We expect strong professional skills in restaurant kitchen operations and experience in supervisory roles. You work systematically even in busy situations and can coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. You understand the financial aspects of kitchen operations and can make decisions that support business profitability.
