Slope Worker

Aavasaksa Lapland Oy is looking for two full-time slope workers for the upcoming winter season! In your role, you will be part of Aavasaksa Lapland Oy's slope team, participating in the snowmaking of the Aavasaksa ski center, providing customer service at the slope center, and maintaining the trail infrastructure under Aavasaksa Lapland Oy. Requirements for the applicant: - An active and proactive attitude - At least a Class B driver's license, EA1, and an occupational safety card - Experience in operating various machines and working safely - A customer service orientation and the ability to handle pressure during busy periods We value: - Courage to use foreign languages, such as English and Swedish, with customers - EA2 - Knowledge of skiing equipment and conditions - Previous experience in snowmaking, as well as the maintenance of slopes and trails, is considered an advantage Send a free-form application telling us about yourself and attach your CV, which should highlight your educational background and work history. The work is primarily outdoor work and may include evening, night, and weekend shifts depending on weather conditions. The job requires physical fitness and readiness to perform snowmaking and maintenance work in varying conditions. The work is mainly located in the area of the Aavasaksa ski center and the winter trails maintained by Aavasaksa Lapland Oy. The employment is fixed-term, starting as agreed, and ends when the ski slopes close (usually after Easter, although weather conditions may affect the closing date). Remuneration is according to the collective agreement for the ski center industry, in accordance with requirement group B, 2078-2280 euros/month (depending on years of experience) + condition allowances. The position is full-time. A 2-month probationary period applies to the filling of the position. Aavasaksa Lapland Oy is a subsidiary 100% owned by the municipality of Ylitornio.
