Portuguese Language Instructor
We are seeking a Portuguese language instructor to join a project at EMAVI (Escuela Militar de Aviación) in Cali. This is an on-site, fixed-term contract from January 21 to May 24, 2025, with classes scheduled Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 6:00am to 1:30pm. Payment is per 45-minute lesson at 23,500 COP (17,500 COP base plus statutory benefits and a 6,000 COP non-contractual bonus), averaging about 4 lessons daily. Responsibilities include teaching Portuguese to university students, delivering engaging interactive classes, evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback, and fostering a positive learning environment. Requirements include fluency in Portuguese at B2/C1 with certificated or informal teaching experience in Portuguese. Availability for the stated schedule at the Military Aviation School in Cali is required. Passion for language teaching is essential.
