The City of Helsinki invests heavily in mental health services and preventive activities offered for primary health care. The Short-term Therapy Unit implements short-term therapeutic treatments and group therapy for Helsinki residents over 13 years old, who are referred to us from Helsinki's social and health care primary services. We are now looking for a nurse starting September 1, 2026, in a permanent employment relationship. The Short-term Therapy Unit is located within easy reach in Hakaniemi. In our professional and enthusiastic team, 24 nurses and 3 psychologists work. The unit is open from 8 am to 6 pm. We offer you comprehensive orientation and training, as well as professional mentoring as needed. Treatment programs include CBT, IPT and Cool Kids sessions. We provide training for the implementation of the programs. We also have the opportunity to implement other evidence-based short-term therapeutic interventions if you have training in them. We will start interviews during the recruitment period, and the start date of work can be agreed upon flexibly. In addition to interesting and varied work, we offer you extensive training and development opportunities. As a city employee, you can apply for a rental apartment from Aurora Linna, whose apartments are cheaper than market level and our employees' apartment applications are prioritized. Because life is not just about work, we also take care of the balance between work and leisure. You will have access to the Epassi Flex package including sports, culture, commuting and wellbeing benefits. A benefit of up to 550 euros per calendar year can be obtained. The available balance is determined based on the length of your employment. In addition, a lunch benefit is available. As a staff benefit, you will also have access to a city bike and can visit the city employees' own recreation island if you wish.
