Hot Work and Hole Watcher

We are seeking hot work and hole watchers for Barona Tekniikka & Asennus Oy for the Stora Enso Oulu plant maintenance shutdown in September 2026. Work begins on September 7, 2026, and the shutdown is estimated to last two weeks. You will work as a hot work and hole watcher in teams of approximately 10 people. Work will be performed in twelve-hour shifts six, or even seven days a week, so you must be prepared to commit to the project for its entire duration. We offer the opportunity for a good earnings level. As a hot work watcher, you will monitor the safety of the work site. You will ensure that heat, sparks, or splashes resulting from hot work do not cause personal injury or material damage. In tank work tasks, the monitoring of personal safety is emphasized. You will be briefed on the tasks, but above all, you must understand that you are monitoring the safety of the shared worksite. By nature, you are careful and conscientious. A valid occupational safety and hot work card is considered an advantage.
