Legal Counsel

Would you like to learn more about corporate customer business and support its success with your legal advice? In this position, you will have a key role as legal support for Danske Bank's small and medium-sized corporate customer business! Job Description In this position, you will become part of the expert and warm-hearted Legal Finland unit of 17 lawyers and the global Danske Legal consisting of over 200 lawyers. Your main responsibility is to provide legal support to the Business Customers business, responsible for small and medium-sized companies, and its product units, including for example: - Drafting and commenting on documents related to corporate banking, such as financing and security agreements. - Supporting business units in matters such as Cash Management and Trade Finance. - Close cooperation with experts in different fields, such as account managers, product experts and credit decision-makers, as well as legal colleagues and other stakeholders in Finland and other countries of the Danske Group. In addition, the role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for new and varied tasks. These could be, for example, extensive contract negotiations with various partners and counterparties or expert tasks related to the monitoring and implementation of regulation. In addition, your duties may include other legal tasks belonging to the bank's business. We hope from you Success in this position is enabled by: - At least a few years of experience in legal positions in the financial sector or a law firm. - Good understanding of the products offered by the bank to corporate customers and the regulatory conditions in Finland. - Independent and proactive approach to work as well as strong cooperation, interaction and stakeholder skills. - Fluent Finnish and English language skills.
