We're looking for a Cloud Solution Architect with strong expertise in Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) to support enterprise and regulated customers in designing and delivering hybrid cloud solutions. This is a customer-facing role responsible for driving Azure Local and hybrid cloud architecture, acting as a trusted technical advisor, and delivering secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure solutions. While Azure Local is the primary focus, the role requires flexibility to support broader Azure infrastructure and hybrid scenarios across multiple customer engagements. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing Azure Local/Azure Stack HCI solutions; architecting hybrid environments integrating Azure Arc, virtual machines and Kubernetes, networking, and storage; and enabling cloud-consistent operations across on-premises and Azure. You will lead end-to-end delivery, including deployment and configuration, hybrid/cloud migration and modernization, troubleshooting complex infrastructure and platform issues, and delivering high-quality, repeatable technical engagements. You will act as the primary technical contact for customers, build relationships from technical teams to executive stakeholders, and translate business requirements into technical architecture. You will support monitoring and operational stability, performance optimization, disaster recovery and business continuity, and improve operational maturity and reliability. You will guide customers on identity (Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory), access control, governance, and compliance, and contribute to secure-by-design hybrid architectures. You will collaborate with CSAMs, partners, and engineering teams and contribute to reusable assets, IP, and best practices. Required technical skills include deep expertise in Azure Local/Azure Stack HCI; strong Azure infrastructure knowledge covering compute (VMs), networking, and storage; and experience with Azure Arc and hybrid and multi-cloud architectures. A critical requirement is strong understanding of Windows Server administration, Active Directory (AD DS), Microsoft Entra ID and Entra Connect, Hyper-V, clustering and high availability, storage (S2D and SAN concepts), and networking (segmentation and connectivity). You must be able to operate confidently across both cloud and on-prem environments. Expected security knowledge includes identity and access management fundamentals, certificate usage and PKI awareness (deep expertise is not required), and infrastructure hardening and compliance fundamentals. Strongly preferred qualifications include disaster recovery and backup solutions; experience in environments with very high security requirements; awareness of classified, regulated, or sovereign IT environments; and experience in complex enterprise IT landscapes. Professionalism, integrity, and strong adherence to confidentiality expectations are required. You should work effectively in fast-moving, changing organizations and in defense, government, or public-sector environments. Personal suitability and trustworthiness are critical, with strong emphasis on reliability and accountability. You should have experience working with enterprise customers, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, the ability to handle critical customer situations under pressure, excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, a strong balance between technical depth and business understanding, and the ability to adapt quickly in changing environments. The role focuses on Azure Local and hybrid infrastructure, combines architecture design, hands-on delivery, and customer engagement, requires end-to-end understanding of infrastructure across cloud and on-premises, and offers strong exposure to regulated and high-security environments. Fluent Finnish and English, spoken and written, are mandatory. Additional Nordic languages are a plus. You must be able to work onsite as required and travel as needed.
