Nature Hobby Group Instructor Do you want to join us as a nature educator to create pleasant and unforgettable experiences in nature for children? Are you an inspiring, present, responsible, and safe adult interested in nature and environmental issues, with an active approach and group instruction skills? We offer hobby activities for schools according to the Finnish Hobby Model (HSM), and we are currently looking for an instructor in Espoo. Nature hobbies are activities taking place at a school or in the school's immediate environment, where, among other things, nature and forest wildlife are explored, fast-paced nature-themed sports games are played, sensory exercises and handicrafts are done, and other environment-educating activities are carried out in the forest/park and occasionally indoors. However, the activities are mainly outdoors year-round. In Espoo, nature hobby activities involve students in grades 1–4. You will receive all materials ready-made and full support for instruction; we will orient you to the task before the work begins. You will also have the opportunity to brainstorm activities to suit your own style. The goal is for the work to start in week 37, and according to the preliminary plan, there will be one group per week, with one group instruction session lasting 60 minutes. The hobbies last until May 2027. Work is scheduled for afternoons when students finish school; there is no group instruction during school holidays. We will also listen to your wishes regarding the specific area of Espoo where the hobby is organized and the day of the week. The position requires suitable work experience or education in working with children; education in the nature field is considered an advantage. The job is also well-suited for students.
