Electricians for Tramway Projects

We are now looking for electricians for tramway projects! We offer varied duties ranging from new equipment installations to renovation projects. You will work as part of an experienced and skilled team, supported by capable supervisors and colleagues. In your role, you will contribute to the safe, high-quality delivery of projects and help ensure their smooth progress. You will collaborate with other professionals in a cooperative workplace. You will be best suited to the role if you work systematically and according to plan, and can prioritise tasks even when circumstances change. Your duties include: - Electrical-system installation work as a member of a skilled team. - Installation and cabling work involving overhead contact lines, power supply substations and track infrastructure. - Good opportunities for professional development. - Projects that keep society on track. - A safe, inclusive and energetic workplace. Your primary work area is the Helsinki metropolitan region, but we hope you are also able to work on the move. Work is mainly during daytime, but by separate agreement it may be scheduled for evenings or weekends. What do we expect from you? - A vocational qualification in the electrical field. - Applicants must be at least 18 because of the nature of the work. - At least a category B driving licence, as the role requires travel between areas. A category C licence is considered an advantage. - Readiness to travel and to work variable hours. - Previous electrical work experience, experience in railway and tramway construction and maintenance, and possible competence cards are considered advantages. Examples include an electrical safety card, first aid qualification and occupational safety card. You must pass a pre-employment health examination at the start of employment; the selected candidates will undergo one.
