The rescue services department of the Päijät-Häme Rescue Department is seeking a permanent Fire Captain. The primary place of work will be defined during the selection process, however, the area of operation is the entire wellbeing services county. The duties of the Fire Captain include, among other things, contributing to the rescue safety tasks of the region and participating in the duties of the on-call fire captain, PHP32, at the Heinola location. The working hours are 40 h/week according to a special permit. We require leadership skills, negotiation skills, and experience in officer duties within operational rescue services. We value broad knowledge of the field and work experience in rescue services. Previous service at the Päijät-Häme Rescue Department will also be taken into account. In accordance with general eligibility requirements, we require the qualifications specified in Section 6 of the Rescue Decree No. 407/2011. You must have at least a category B driver's license.
