Locksmith

We are looking for a locksmith to join Loihde’s Security Solutions unit in Kokkola. The role is part of a tight, professional team; you can be an experienced security professional or a motivated learner who wants to train to become a security professional. If needed we will train you to become a security professional. The role belongs to Loihde’s Security Solutions business, where we help customers protect people, premises and business continuity with a range of security solutions. In the Security Solutions unit, over 400 experts work across Finland. We protect our customers and their premises and support business continuity. By combining our service with Loihde’s expertise in data, cyber security, cloud and digital services, we create stronger security and a better user experience. What will you be doing? - Installation and commissioning of mechanical and electromechanical locking systems at customer sites - Installations and commissioning of door automation - Customer service and collaboration with customers and colleagues What do we expect from you? We are looking for someone with an interest in the security field and a desire to become an expert in locking systems. We value an active work attitude, reliability and the ability to work independently and responsibly in customers’ varied operating environments. In this role you need: - Active and open-minded attitude - Reliability and diligence - Ability to plan and work independently - Initiative and willingness to learn new things - Good collaboration and customer service skills - B driving license - Proficient Finnish language skills - Clean background Nice to have (not required): - Technical basic education in electrical, automation or telecommunications - Previous experience in security industry - Knowledge of security systems - Locking expertise - Good problem-solving skills - English language skills Practical details Location: Your workstation is in Kokkola, but the work involves traveling to customer sites in the Kokkola area and nearby areas. The work is mobile and independent by nature. Salary: Salary is based on your skills and experience. We will discuss compensation in more detail during the recruitment process.
