Surveying Engineer

The City of Rauma's Real Estate and Surveying Department is seeking a Surveying Engineer for a permanent official position. We offer a versatile and responsible scope of work within the land use of a growing and developing city. You will work as part of a competent and motivated community and have a concrete impact on the development of Rauma. As a Surveying Engineer, you will work extensively with real estate formation and the management of the city's land assets. Your duties include, among others: - preparation of real estate transactions and acting as the transaction engineer - preparation of plot divisions - management of the city's land assets in the Trimble Locus GIS system - preparation of private road grants - preparation of land use matters related to land policy - preparation of official decisions - duties of a public notary - preparation of real estate sales and agreements. In your work, you will collaborate with various city departments, authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders. The eligibility requirement is a degree in surveying engineering from a university of applied sciences or a technical institution, and practical experience in surveying tasks. The person selected for the position must present an acceptable medical certificate regarding their health no later than 30 days after accepting the position. The position is subject to a six-month probationary period. The salary for the Surveying Engineer is determined according to salary group III, level 10 as follows: Position-specific 3,995.80 €/month + a separately defined personal supplement and a possible experience supplement (3y = 4%, 5y = 8%).
