Primary location: TURKU We are looking for a waiter/waitress for the Trattoria at Original Sokos Hotel Wiklund! The position is fixed-term and part-time, 60-75h / 3 weeks. Work begins as agreed as soon as possible, and the fixed term lasts until January 3, 2027. Waiter duties at Trattoria are diverse. You will work in varying shifts in breakfast, lunch, and evening à la carte services. The practical work is varied: serving, taking food and drink orders, maintaining cleanliness, and above all, serving customers with heart. The work is fast-paced and seasoned with a bit of humor! Shifts are scheduled for all days of the week and require readiness to work varying shifts on weekdays and weekends between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM. What kind of waiter are we looking for? You are the waiter we seek if you have a positive and customer-oriented approach and enjoy meeting people. You take initiative in various tasks and ensure that things run smoothly even during busy periods. You want to help create a successful customer experience and enjoy working as part of a team. Additionally, physical shift work suits you, where you work varying hours and meet many people a day. We hope for previous experience as a waiter and in à la carte service, or suitable restaurant industry education. You must also have a hygiene passport and a liquor license (anniskelupassi). The waiter's salary is based on the collective agreement for tourism, restaurant, and leisure services. The hourly wage is €13.70 - 15.04/h depending on years of experience. Shift premiums provide a nice addition to the base salary. Additionally, you have the possibility of an incentive bonus of up to €1.20 per hour worked.
