We are seeking an employee for a permanent position as a medical device specialist at the Meilahti location. The work involves moving within the HUS operational area. The position includes scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory and medical devices using various measuring instruments. Additionally, the job description includes, among other things, receiving inspections of devices, tasks related to device updates and user support, and the verification of purchase invoices for maintenance services. The tasks may also include solving IT-related problems with devices. We will provide orientation for the role. Success in the position requires: * knowledge of electronics, electrical engineering, and IT * good cooperation and interaction skills * an independent approach to work and the ability to take responsibility * ability to work under pressure and solve problems * perseverance * excellent oral and written Finnish language skills * good oral and written English language skills * flexibility and willingness to learn new things * a valid driver's license for a passenger car. We consider it an advantage: * previous experience in the maintenance of laboratory or medical devices, or other maintenance or installation of electrical, telecommunications, and electronic devices * previous tasks requiring customer service, an independent approach, and technical problem-solving * manual skills and a hobbyist interest in technology * knowledge of mechanical devices and pneumatics * knowledge of human physiology * previous experience with quality systems * LEAN expertise.
