R&D Project Manager

The role is for leading and coordinating product development and productization projects at Nammo Lapua, with responsibility for planning, execution and reporting in line with set objectives and budgets. The project portfolio will be managed, monitored and reported. You will develop technical customer support, analyze feedback and plan development actions, and drive supplier collaborations and joint technology and development projects. You will ensure communication and collaboration between sales, production, suppliers and other key stakeholders. Key tasks include designing, implementing and coordinating product development and productization projects; managing the project portfolio; developing competitive product and support materials; coordinating supplier collaboration and driving joint technology projects; ensuring information flow between internal and external stakeholders. What we expect from you: a suitable AMK- or diploma engineer degree and experience of leading product development projects and supplier collaboration. You have strong project management, cooperation and interpersonal skills and fluent English. ISO 9001 quality systems knowledge is valued. AQAP 2110 experience, experience developing technical customer support and knowledge of weapons and ammunition are an advantage. Success in the role requires initiative, goal orientation, teamwork, the ability to handle broad responsibilities, make autonomous decisions and work efficiently with multiple parallel tasks in changing situations. You will proactively build collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
