Job Description
We are seeking a practical and responsible Sous Chef / Kitchen Shift Supervisor to support our head chef at Northern Lights Village Saariselkä. The role involves assisting in daily kitchen operations, guiding staff, maintaining hygiene, managing inventory, and participating in menu development. Candidates should have previous kitchen experience, a relevant qualification, hygiene passport or willingness to obtain one, good cooking skills, and fluent English. Additional skills in Nordic cuisine, allergen knowledge, and a valid B driver’s license are advantageous. We offer a unique environment in Lapland, mentoring, career opportunities, seasonal contract from November to March/April, and a salary of 2600-3000 EUR/month based on experience.
