We are seeking an experienced CNC machine operator for our client in Oravainen for a permanent position. The job involves working with versatile and demanding machining tasks and producing large components. The role suits someone who thrives in independent work and has strong machining expertise. The client operates as a contract manufacturer and delivers high-quality metal components and complete solutions for industrial needs. The position starts with a six-month fixed-term contract through Carrot, after which there is a possibility of permanent employment with the client. Working time is 40 hours per week with a readiness for two-shift operation. Start date is as soon as a suitable candidate is found. Your duties include a varied machining role, mainly on larger pieces. You will perform machining according to drawings and ensure quality from start to finish. The work requires reading and interpreting technical drawings independently, programming, and operating machines with HEIDENHAIN control. You are precise and thorough and take responsibility for your work. You can work independently, with a colleague, and as part of a team. We value initiative and genuine interest in the work. We expect: experience in machining; HEIDENHAIN and/or Siemens programming skills; experience machining larger parts; good motivation and ability to work independently; Finnish language skills; CAM experience is a plus.
