Chief Physician

Mehiläinen is seeking a Chief Physician for the Ympyrätalo medical center in Helsinki. In this role, you will participate in the operations of a leading, dynamic, and growing healthcare company from a strategic vantage point. You will develop patient processes, including general practitioner and reception functions, as well as imaging and laboratory services. You will work as part of the Ympyrätalo management team and serve as the representative of the service unit's responsible person according to the Health Care Act (Section 10). Maintaining your own patient reception with a flexible schedule is possible alongside these duties. Success in the role requires: - broad general medical perspective and experience in healthcare services - ability to address general medical questions with up-to-date information and promote the adoption of new evidence-based treatments and services - a development-oriented approach, good interaction skills, and persistence - ability to coordinate and communicate services clearly and inspire the unit's staff and practitioners in their work - desire to operate in an innovative and fast-paced environment with several simultaneous projects - participation in physician recruitment and onboarding of new physicians We value specialist physician qualifications with up-to-date knowledge and skills, as well as previous evidence of success as a chief physician or in development roles.
