Early Childhood Education Teacher

Education services / early childhood education in the municipality of Korsholm is seeking an early childhood education teacher for Veikars daycare for the period 24.8.2026–31.5.2027. We offer early childhood education in a continuous development process. For an early childhood education teacher, this means interesting tasks in a multi-professional working community. The early childhood education plan is our most important tool in an activity where children are active co-actors in their learning process. We are looking for a person with strong knowledge of early childhood and preschool pedagogy and a child-oriented view of work. We expect you to be committed to teamwork, have good social skills, and be flexible. We value a developing way of working, good initiative, and a positive attitude. We assume that you have a good ability to use Swedish in speech and writing, as well as a satisfactory ability to use Finnish in speech. As an early childhood education teacher, you will work as a team leader in your working group and be responsible for the planning, implementation, evaluation, and development of the pedagogical activities at the unit. You are also responsible for the care, upbringing, and safety of the children. You support the child's development and learning. You maintain good cooperation with the guardians. You prepare and implement the child's plan. Qualification requirements in accordance with the Act on Early Childhood Education (540/2018). The work is part-time, 80%. Salary according to UKTA.
