In this role, you will work on varied property and construction projects and learn from experienced project managers and building developers. As a Project Engineer, you will work as part of Granlund’s building development team in Kuopio or Jyväskylä and support experienced project managers and building developers at different stages of property and construction projects. You will get to know the overall building development process and grow your skills through practical projects. At first, you will work closely with more experienced specialists, and your responsibilities will grow as your experience and skills develop. The role involves travel, and you will also visit construction sites in the surrounding area. Job duties: - Assisting experienced building developers and project managers at different stages of projects. - Construction supervision and inspection visits to nearby construction sites. - Assisting with documentation, reporting and meeting-related tasks. - Monitoring and coordinating project progress. - Collaborating with clients, designers and contractors. We hope that you have suitable education, such as a Bachelor of Engineering (UAS) in construction or a Master of Science in Technology; an interest in building development and project management; fluent Finnish; readiness to visit nearby sites; a systematic and responsible approach to work; good cooperation and interaction skills; motivation to learn and develop into a building development expert; a driving licence; and access to your own car.
