This includes conversion to IFRS, preparation of IFRS financial statements in connection with conversions or improvements, technical accounting analyses and issues, solving general accounting problems, improvement of financial reporting processes and control environments, and various M&A accounting services. The Accounting & Reporting Advisory team is a component of our Assurance Offerings department that specializes in advising CFO’s and finance functions on, amongst others, projects within accounting, ESG reporting & assurance, optimisation of financial processes, digital solutions as well as complex IFRS analysis and implementation projects. Job Description: As part of our team, you will lead and participate in client projects using your specialised accounting knowledge and the Deloitte Toolkit. We are looking for candidates on a manager level who are capable of leading projects with up to five team members, being responsible for scoping projects in cooperation with clients and project partners, as well as supporting and advising clients’ corporate accounting and reporting teams. We work with assistance and advice within: * General assistance regarding IFRS (ad hoc questions or short/long-term temporary tasks) * Supporting clients in optimizing their financial reporting processes, ensuring timely, efficient and quality external reporting * Assisting clients with consolidations and system implementation, improving their close processes and financial data flows from source to report * Practical assistance/advice on finance, accounting and reporting * Conversions to IFRS * Supporting the clients specialised finance function with analysing and documenting the accounting treatment of proposed or actual transactions * Assistance with the due diligence process in connection with business transactions (e.g., selected accounting areas, preparation of memos, preparation of due diligence material) * Accounting assistance after company acquisition to support subsequent integration * Treasury accounting including design and implementation of hedge accounting and processes and controls supporting clients running an effective hedge accounting setup Qualifications: You are curious about accounting and accounting issues. You have minimum 5 years of experience from a similar job within finance or accounting, e.g., auditor, finance manager, accounting manager, or consultant in a related area. You value and embrace diverse perspectives and collaborate to create security and trust among your colleagues and clients. You have a relevant master's degree in finance, accounting, or auditing.
