Cook, Ruka Safaris Oy The Iisakki Village area is a replica of Iisakki Rajala's courtyard, which was located at Paanajärvi. The area features many atmospheric, old log buildings that have been moved to their current location respecting tradition but modernized. Hidden inside the log buildings is a comprehensive range of services, a reception with A-rights, accommodation options for every taste, saunas, Iisakin Talo restaurant, as well as experience services and fire pits. We are looking for cooks in Ruka to join a top team! Work as a cook takes place at Iisakin Talo, Kontioluola, and Ukonkivi, located in the beautiful landscapes of Kuusamo and Ruka. As a cook, you will prepare food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. We require previous work experience in cook duties. You are able to work independently in the role but are also a strong team player and have a genuine desire to create experiential dining moments for customers. A positive and proactive attitude towards work will take you far! We offer you a fantastic opportunity to work in wonderful surroundings! The employment is fixed-term, from 23.11.2026 to 31.3.2027. Pay is competitive based on your experience, approximately 15-17€/h, and if needed, affordable on-site accommodation can be arranged! The selected person will be employed through Lisäpalvelu Pohjois-Suomi Oy, and we also offer Lisäpalvelu's support and security throughout your journey. We ensure that everything goes as agreed and that you enjoy your stay at the destination. What do we expect from you? * Education in the field and at least 1 year of experience in similar roles. * A good attitude towards work. * Good social skills and good stress tolerance. * Hygiene passport. * Proficiency in Finnish is mandatory. * Driving license B. * Own car (considered an advantage).
