About the role

As the Administrative Manager, you will work directly under the result area director in the administrative services of the elderly services result area. Your supervisor is the result area director. You are responsible for scheduling, preparing, and managing administrative work according to the annual cycle, and you support the uniform operation of result groups in accordance with the operating methods agreed upon by the wellbeing services county. You support the planning of result group activities, result area reporting, and the processing of administrative matters. You serve as the result area contact person and immediate supervisor for specifically designated professional groups, as well as an expert secretary for the elderly services board, the elderly services cooperation committee, and the elderly services occupational safety and health board. You are a member of the result area management group and leadership team and actively participate in supporting the implementation of the service strategy. Your concrete tasks include, among others: - preparing reminder responses - supervisory duties - acting as an expert secretary in the aforementioned bodies - internal control and risk management of the result area - drafting statements and preparatory work related to information requests - scheduling administrative work and maintaining the roadmap for result groups - other tasks assigned by the supervisor. What we expect from you We require strong knowledge of the Administrative Act and the legislation governing social and health care, as well as evidence of successful performance in a similar role. You have experience in supervisory work and the ability to lead expert work in a goal-oriented, consistent, and people-centric manner. We expect excellent cooperation, interaction, communication, and organizational skills, the ability to adopt the use of various information systems, and a readiness to utilize digitalization to streamline administrative processes. You work with a development-oriented and independent approach, while actively building collaborative efforts. The eligibility requirement is a suitable upper university degree. A degree in law, public administration, or business administration is considered an advantage. Language requirements include good oral and written Finnish and satisfactory oral and written Swedish.
