You will be part of an expert team responsible for the development of a new cast iron electric motor series. Your work involves independent design, collaborating closely with local production and international colleagues. We Offer A long-term project with the possibility of a permanent employment. Work Tasks Focus on the mechanical design of a new electric motor series, especially cast iron components and close cooperation with manufacturing. - Design cast iron components and steel casting - Develop machined parts for electric motors - Collaborate with production to ensure manufacturability - Communicate daily with an international team in English - Utilize and learn to manage Creo and Windchill design tools - Independently manage your design areas according to project progress We Are Looking For - Suitable technical education (e.g., mechanical engineering) - Several years of experience in mechanical design - Good knowledge of cast iron components and steel casting - Ability to work independently and responsibly - Fluent Finnish skills for production collaboration - Good English skills for international project work We Appreciate If You Have - Willingness to learn and adopt new design software Recruitment Process Academic Work handles this application on behalf of the client, who prefers all questions related to the position to be directed to Academic Work.
