System Specialist

We are looking for a VDI (Citrix) system specialist for our growing business, the Data Center Services unit. Our areas of responsibility include the maintenance and development of virtualization environments, databases and virtual desktop solutions, as well as the production of various services built on top of them for our customers in critical healthcare environments. To succeed as a VDI specialist, you should have a few years of previous work experience with Citrix technologies, maintenance of virtual desktops and related infrastructure in production environments. You can be at the beginning of your career or already a more experienced specialist. However, you want to develop into a top expert in your field and are motivated to face new challenges. In the position, you will participate in installations and maintenance as well as monitoring, migration and troubleshooting. In addition to continuous service, you will also participate in projects as an independent expert. The job description can be modified based on your special expertise. Success in the position requires knowledge and practical experience of Citrix products. You act responsibly towards common goals. You are proactive and active in your work tasks. Your teamwork skills are good and you are able to communicate and document fluently in Finnish and English. You are motivated to maintain your skills and continuously develop your professional skills. We consider basic knowledge/understanding of server virtualization environments (AHV, ESXi, Xen Server etc.) as an advantage. You recognize the different Citrix components and their roles (DaaS, Storefront, Gateway, Director). You also recognize the telecommunications and AD dependencies in production Citrix environments. Experience in production automation is your absolute trump card if you have experience in this area (Ansible, Terraform etc.).
