About the role

We are seeking a practical nurse for a permanent position in Mäntsälä home care. Work in home care is nursing work that takes place at the customer's home, where the practical nurse's tasks consist of comprehensive nursing care of their own responsible customers, planning and implementation of care up to evaluation. Working days in home care are different, in work you have the opportunity to move on foot, by bike or by car. In your tasks you will meet different people in different homes and in your work you can be creative and use your expertise diversely! Mäntsälä home care is divided into three regional teams, where nurses and practical nurses work. We are a group with a sense of humor and we take care of the good orientation of the new employee. We want you to enjoy being with us and to secure the everyday life of elderly people together with the rest of us. We make customer visits mainly independently, but team support is always available. We also work closely with home care in other areas and the home-coming and assessment support teams. If necessary, we help each other across regional boundaries. We plan shifts in a customer-oriented and flexible manner together with the team. Work is done in 2-shift work every day of the week. Eligibility for the position: - Eligibility requirement is a vocational qualification in the social and health care field (practical nurse) or a previous vocational qualification of the school level in the field. We expect and hope from the applicant: - We require valid medication permits, which can also be completed immediately at the start of the employment relationship, as well as a driver's license and the possibility of using your own car to perform the work. - We also require experience working in home care. - Working in home care requires the ability to work and make decisions independently, the ability to plan and organize your own work, adaptability and good teamwork skills. We value enthusiasm for developing your own expertise and the work community. - We hope that you have the professional skill to respond to the customer's comprehensive care needs. We value experience working with elderly people and the use of the RAI functional capacity scale. Further information on the employment relationship and clarifications required for the position: - Permanent employment relationship starting according to agreement. - The position-specific salary is 2_935.15 €/month. We pay an addition based on work experience. - In immediate patient and customer work, vaccination protection required by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a clarification regarding respiratory tuberculosis according to Section 55 are required. - The selected person must provide a criminal record extract for the clarification of the criminal background of those working with the elderly. - A probationary period is observed in the position. - Original work and study certificates are presented in connection with a possible interview.
