We are now looking for an instructor for the child welfare unit Arjen Sydän in Siuntio! At Arjen Sydän, we provide a home-like and safe environment for children in care to live. What kind of work awaits you? The work is full-time and permanent. Work is done in three shifts. We will agree on the start date together with you. As an instructor, you support and encourage children and youth in everyday challenges and participate in the assessment of the child's care and education. You also act as a personal instructor. The starting point of the work is listening to the customer, respectful treatment, and supporting participation. Work is always done in close cooperation with guardians, the local network, school services, and social authorities. We work relationship-based and with the framework of attachment work. Salary The basic salary for the position is between 2460.27 - 2990.35 euros/month depending on your previous work experience. In addition to the salary, shift differentials are paid according to the private social services sector TES. What kind of colleague are we looking for? We expect a degree in Social Services (AMK), Nursing (AMK), or Practical Nursing. The job description is built together with you, and we strive to take into account your expertise and interests. We value previous experience working with children and youth, especially experience in child welfare work, psychiatric nursing for children and youth, and child care and education work. The most important thing for the successful performance of the task is a genuinely customer-oriented approach; the courage to meet each customer as an individual from their own starting point, good interaction skills, and flexibility in changing situations. Please note that the person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract required for those working with children according to Section 6(2) of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993).
