About the role

We are looking for an early childhood education childcare worker for Tyttölä kindergarten to support a child's holistic well-being, development, and learning as part of a multidisciplinary educator team. The position is fixed-term and will be filled starting September 1st or by agreement. As an early childhood education childcare worker, you will work as a care and well-being expert in a children's group, be responsible for the medication of the children in the group, and serve as a member of the unit's basic care team. In Nokia, you will implement the support a child needs according to inclusive principles together with other staff. Successful performance of the duties requires - expertise and knowledge of a child's well-being, growth, and development - supporting a child's participation and equality - good interaction and teamwork skills - flexibility, solution-orientedness, and the ability to act in challenging situations - ability to acquire, analyze, and apply information - participation in the development of activities and basic care - fluent oral and written skills in Finnish Early childhood education in the City of Nokia is known for its positive attitude towards education, strong pedagogy, and a developing approach to work. We are a UNICEF child-friendly municipality and promote the realization of children's rights in our activities. The eligibility of early childhood education staff is determined in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) and Decree (608/2005). Certificates proving eligibility must be attached to the Kuntarekry application. The position-specific level salary is €2,477.04–2,633.38/month. Persons invited for an interview will be notified personally. Those invited are requested to bring original certificates proving eligibility to the interview. Selection decisions will be notified electronically. Before the selection decision is confirmed, the selected person must provide a criminal record extract (Criminal Records Act Section 6, Subsection 2) no later than 30 days after receiving notification of the selection decision.
