We are looking for registered nurses for the pediatric intensive care unit at the New Children's Hospital in Laakso, where the most demanding intensive care for children in Finland is provided. Our patients are children aged 0–16 from all specialties. We centralize, among other things, demanding cardiac surgery, organ transplants, and ECMO treatment – tasks that cannot be performed elsewhere. Eligibility requirements Licensed Registered Nurse. The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract required for those working with children according to Section 6, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993). We require vaccination protection according to the Communicable Diseases Act for those working in customer and patient areas, and a health certificate regarding pulmonary tuberculosis for those working in healthcare units.
