We are seeking a healthcare logistician for a fixed-term position in instrument care and healthcare logistics services at Nova Hospital in Jyväskylä for the period 24.8.2026-7.7.2027. The duties of a healthcare logistician consist of material handling tasks at the logistics center and comprehensive ward and healthcare logistics services, managing the inventory of various materials for units (e.g., consumables and care supplies) from ordering to delivery. The healthcare logistician performs procedure-specific picking of instruments and care supplies and shelving services. Additionally, the role includes internal material transport within the hospital. Working hours are weekdays between 6:00 and 15:00 and require good physical condition. As a customer-oriented multi-skilled worker, you will ensure that our customers have the necessary materials in the right place at the right time. Position-specific salary €2,528.42/month. In addition to the position-specific salary, we pay a work experience supplement of 3% for 5 years and 8% for 10 years. Please also note the good working conditions of the public sector, for example, regarding vacation days. The accumulation of vacation days is determined by your work experience - the more experience, the more earned vacation days. Previous experience in material management tasks and, for the healthcare logistician role, previous healthcare education and/or experience are considered assets. We value initiative and good cooperation skills; the task requires precision and an efficient work approach. We require suitability in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (chickenpox and measles). The employer determines the need for influenza and pertussis vaccinations. The terms of employment are determined according to the general collective agreement for the wellbeing services county (HYVTES). The employment relationship includes a probationary period.
