Biology and Geography Teacher

Nissnikku School is a comprehensive school for grades 1-9 with approximately 540 students. The working atmosphere at our school is development-oriented and community-based. Nissnikku School is easily accessible by public transport, with train and bus stops in the immediate vicinity. The selected person is required to have the qualifications of a subject teacher in biology and geography. In the absence of qualified applicants, we will also consider applicants without these qualifications. A positive work attitude, good interaction and teamwork skills, cooperation skills, and versatile teaching skills are considered an advantage. Strong expertise in the respective subjects is an advantage. The person selected for the position may start the duties earlier by agreement. Teacher qualifications are determined in accordance with the Decree on the Qualification Requirements for Teaching Staff (986/98). According to Section 9 of the Decree, a teacher providing basic education must have excellent oral and written skills in the school's language of instruction. The terms of employment are determined by the Municipal Teaching Staff Collective Agreement (OVTES). The person selected for the position must provide a criminal record extract as specified in the Act on the Checking of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children (504/2002) within 30 days of receiving the selection decision.
