Maintenance Technician

More than 100 picking robots and nearly 200 online grocery professionals work together in this automated operation, combining grocery retail and logistics in a modern hybrid environment where customer experience and production flow are continuously developed. As a maintenance technician, you are responsible for the safe, reliable and cost-effective operation of the fulfilment centre’s equipment, tools and technical systems. You oversee preventive maintenance and ensure that servicing, inspections and repairs are performed systematically and to a high standard. Your work enables smooth production, ensuring picking robots, conveyors, tools and other production-critical equipment are operational when needed. Your workdays combine preventive maintenance, technical troubleshooting and collaboration with production and external service providers. You plan and monitor maintenance programmes and ensure maintenance activities support the centre’s safety, quality and efficiency objectives. You monitor equipment performance, help investigate faults and disruptions, and coordinate necessary maintenance and repairs. You work with property services and external maintenance partners and ensure agreed work is completed to a high standard and on schedule. Your duties also include maintaining maintenance documentation, managing the annual calendar and continuously developing working practices. Your role is not only to repair faults but, above all, to prevent them. You will succeed if you have a practical technical approach and can understand the wider picture in a production environment. You are proactive, responsible and solution-oriented, take initiative and see tasks through. You can work independently and understand the importance of cooperation in a varied working environment. You enjoy combining hands-on work, planning and continuous improvement. What we expect from you: - Experience in maintenance of equipment, machinery or production environments. - Understanding of preventive maintenance practices and maintenance planning. - Experience with servicing, repairs or inspections. - Understanding of occupational safety and maintenance best practices. - An organised and responsible approach to work. - Initiative and good cooperation and communication skills. - Readiness to work different shifts as required. Familiarity with an AutoStore environment or maintenance systems is an advantage, but most important is your willingness to learn and develop operations over the long term. Why this role? Salary is determined according to the retail collective agreement and is €2,334–€2,704 per month depending on your education and work experience.
