Hospitality Host wanted to join our meeting and event services team at Break Sokos Hotel Flamingo in Aviapolis, Vantaa. The Hospitality Host acts as the customer's main contact from the reservation to the event execution, contacts future clients, plans and finalises event details with them, and ensures customer wishes are fulfilled. The role also involves proactive selling of additional services and collaboration with other hotel departments. The goal is to deliver a successful event for the client while seeking opportunities to exceed expectations. Responsibilities include handling inquiries, coordinating with venue staff, upselling services, and maintaining a high level of customer service. Requirements include customer-oriented, proactive commercial service attitude, good interpersonal and collaboration skills, experience in meetings, events, hotel or restaurant industries, experience in arranging meetings and managing large projects, initiative, accuracy, and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, familiarity with booking systems for meetings and restaurant reservations; Opera Cloud skills are a plus, fluent Finnish and English.
