We are now looking for a new colleague to join our sales team in Kotka and Hamina. We are seeking an open and active colleague for on-call shifts. This is a flexible role on your own terms, where shifts may be offered on short notice. Our service concept includes personal attention to the customer, offering new experiences, and sales work in accordance with Finland's Best Customer Encounter. As a sales assistant at Suomalainen Kirjakauppa, your duties include active sales work, maintaining the store's appearance, and other daily store tasks. As part of the Finnish Otava Group, we develop our operations long-term by implementing our values: responsibility, quality, courage, and proximity. Remuneration is based on the retail collective agreement's demand level B and is determined by years of experience: €13.33/h - €15.26/h. We pay the following supplements for evening and weekend work: - Evening supplement after 6 PM: €4.18/h - Saturday supplement after 1 PM: €5.46/h - Work performed on Sunday is paid at double rate We are primarily looking for a person with previous experience in store and cashier work, and above all, we value an active, brisk, and enthusiastic attitude toward sales work. You approach new tasks with an open mind and do your best to serve the customer, even in the midst of a rush. We expect you to be able to serve our customers fluently in Finnish - proficiency in Swedish and English is considered an advantage. Your shifts will be according to the stores' opening hours on weekdays and weekends. Shifts are performed both with colleagues and independently.
