Optician / Optometrist

Synsam continues to grow! We are opening a new store in Hämeenlinna in early 2027 and are now hiring a permanent Optician/Optometrist for Synsam Tiiriö optical store. The Optician role includes listening to customers, managing eye examinations and customer service with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. Opticians also participate in sales activities and balance time between the eye-testing room and the store, offering customers solutions related to vision care and style, primarily within our Lifestyle agreement. We expect fluency in Finnish and English; other languages are a plus. Qualifications include being an optician/optometrist with licensing to practice, or about to become one; results-driven and goal oriented; competitive; strong collaboration skills; knowledge of contact lenses and occupational vision is a plus. We offer a relaxed, youth-friendly atmosphere, meaningful and varied tasks in a growing international company. Salary is approximately 3000–4000 €/month based on the opticians' collective agreement and experience; full-time, permanent. Application by 7 Sept 2026.
