We are looking for a new addition to our team to lead and develop the maintenance and upkeep operations of the properties and condominiums of the Salvation Army Foundation of Finland. **Job Description** As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the planning, organization, and daily management of maintenance operations. You will lead the maintenance team, ensure the efficient execution of work, and maintain the operational condition of properties, apartments, and technical systems. You will work closely with customers, partners, and organization personnel, and you are not afraid to pick up a screwdriver yourself when necessary. Your duties include, among other things: - Planning, coordinating, and scheduling maintenance and upkeep work - Supervision, guidance, and onboarding of maintenance staff - Monitoring the maintenance and repair activities of properties and apartments - Ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of work - Customer and stakeholder cooperation - Participation in budgeting and cost management - Developing maintenance processes and operating methods This is a permanent, full-time day job in a respected organization. Your office is located on Castreninkatu in Kallio, Helsinki, but the work requires travel within the capital region. **The Person We Are Looking For** You are a practical supervisor with the ability to lead a team, organize multiple simultaneous tasks, and ensure a high-quality end result. You have technical understanding of property maintenance and upkeep, and a desire to develop operations together with your team. **To succeed in the position, you need:** - Excellent oral and written Finnish language skills - Class B driver's license - Experience in supervision or responsible roles in maintenance, upkeep, or the real estate sector - Initiative, ability to work under pressure, and a solution-oriented approach - Good leadership, organizational, and prioritization skills - A brisk and positive customer service attitude - Basic IT skills (email, Teams, and O365) **We highly value and consider it an advantage if you have:** - Knowledge of maintenance and upkeep processes and general technical expertise in property maintenance - Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Excellent team, communication, and interaction skills - Common sense and a sense of humor - Education in the real estate sector or other suitable technical education - Experience in the construction industry, renovations, and maintenance company operations - Knowledge of property maintenance operations and contract management - Experience in supervisory work - Additionally, proficiency in English and/or Swedish is a plus **We Offer You** The opportunity to do meaningful work in a historical, humane organization and see the concrete results of your work.
