You will work as a school psychologist in Kaarina's student welfare services at S:t Karins svenska skolan and Piispanlähde school (grades 1-6), as well as in the pre-primary education units of these schools. You will provide psychological expertise for pre-primary education and the educational institution and participate in supporting children's learning, growth, development, and well-being. Your daily work combines individual work, community work, and multidisciplinary cooperation with school staff and other student welfare professionals. Psychological expertise is valued and seen as important within the school community. You will be supported by a lead school psychologist and an experienced regional psychology team, who are always available as needed. Your duties include: - individual support and guidance for students in client work related to learning, growth, development, and well-being - participation in the work of a multidisciplinary expert group - community work at the educational institution - assessment of learning disabilities.
