Receptionist

We are seeking a versatile receptionist to join Sunday Morning Resort in Pyhätunturi. The role involves handling front desk tasks, guest correspondence by email and phone, and assisting with bookings and guest services in a boutique hotel setting. You will be at the heart of our operations, interacting with guests and coordinating with other departments to ensure a high standard of service. Responsibilities include check-in/check-out, managing accommodation and activity reservations (systems include Mews, Fareharbour, ResDiary, Profitroom), handling deposits and on-site payments, upselling additional services via OTA channels, collaborating with various departments, and assisting with small souvenir sales and coffee corner upkeep. The team consists of 2–3 receptionists, a concierge/guest relations staff member, and a supervisor; shifts are mostly on a stand-alone basis during peak seasons. You will work in close collaboration with resort management, sales, kitchen and dining, housekeeping, activity services, and maintenance. There is also a digital assistant, Butler AI, assisting part of guest communications, with opportunities to help train and improve it. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including those new to the field, or seasoned professionals in related service roles. Requirements include relevant training (e.g., hotel receptionist, hospitality management) and/or experience; prior hotel reservation system experience is beneficial but not mandatory (we use Mews, Fareharbour, ResDiary and Profitroom). Strong customer-service orientation, reliability, teamwork, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a lively environment are essential. Proficiency in Finnish and English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. Hygieniapassi and serving license are advantageous.
