Job Description
Seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial-minded Restaurant Manager to lead the dynamic and legendary Sports Bar Konja in Helsinki. Malmi's lively legend since 1992! The energetic and legendary restaurant Konja offers entertainment and events for everyone. Good transportation links and an immediate, relaxed atmosphere make it a great place for an evening out, even if you come from a bit further away! Konja is famous for its billiard games and tournaments, and in summer, customers can enjoy a relaxed vibe on our covered terrace. All major sports channels are shown in the sports viewing area. Sports, draft beer & the best matches are watched together with us. Beer and other beverages with serving rights. At Konja, spend evenings, meet friends, play billiards, watch sports, and enjoy the atmosphere and a diverse selection of drinks. As the manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and lead your team as a supervisor. You will plan, direct, supervise, and develop various areas: profit, service, safety, quality, and staff, ensuring efficient operations in line with company values and guidelines. Lead operations profitably, customer-friendly, and with an encouraging approach, while also being responsible for staff well-being and a positive work environment. You are eager to develop different aspects of the restaurant's business. You will be closely involved with customer interactions alongside your team, as a significant part of sales is made during evenings and weekends. You have industry education, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a flexible and positive attitude. You can interpret key business figures and make decisions based on them. Your IT skills are up-to-date; you are proficient in Excel, and familiar with Restolution and Maraplan systems. You communicate fluently in Finnish and English. Onniravintolat is a responsible second-generation family company operating thirteen different restaurants and a brewery in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The company has steadily grown by opening new restaurants. Passion for restaurant operations and attentive listening to customer needs have contributed to success.
