Your workday as a practical nurse with us As a practical nurse, your job description includes responsible and diverse care and customer service work, with a primary focus on assisting residents in daily activities according to their needs. You will work closely with other staff, residents, relatives, and stakeholders. We provide orientation for on-call workers regarding our building and work practices, so that coming to a shift is pleasant and you know what is expected of you. You can trust that you can always ask your colleagues for help! Employment details The position is on-call work, and work is performed according to the need for substitutions. The work is mainly two-shift work. We can agree on the starting date with you. Salary In remuneration, we follow the private social services sector collective agreement. Depending on experience increments, the base salary for a practical nurse according to salary class G20C is €2,527.97–2,758.01/month (starting 1.9.2026). On-call workers are paid an hourly wage, and the salary is paid twice a month. Possible shift-specific bonuses are added to the base salary. What do we expect from you? - Requirements: practical nurse education, vaccination protection in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act, and valid medication permits. We also request a criminal record extract in accordance with the Criminal Records Act for review. - Language skills: we require fluent Finnish language skills for this position (at least B1 level). - Work experience: we require previous experience working with elderly people.
