Nordnet is seeking driven colleagues to join the Securities Brokerage Operations team in Stockholm. As a Post-Trade Officer, you will be a key person in ensuring the secure, efficient, and compliant handling of securities after trading. The department is responsible for the entire post-trade chain, and the role utilizes a planned rotation model between different areas of responsibility to ensure comprehensive competence development. Main responsibilities include securities administration and lending (handling transfers and loans), clearing and settlement (daily settlement and clearing of securities and derivatives across multiple markets, including currency exposure), corporate actions (administering dividends, splits, mergers, IPOs, and new issues), and control and transaction reporting (daily liquidity and position reconciliations and statutory reporting). Candidates should have an academic degree in economics, finance, or a similar field, and be fluent in Swedish and English. A genuine interest in financial markets and regulations, along with a structured and proactive approach to deadlines, is required. Previous experience in post-trade, back-office, clearing, or securities administration is considered a merit. Responsibilities
- Perform securities transfers and manage securities loans for customer deposits and pension company lending
- Handle daily settlement, reconciliation and clearing for securities and derivatives across multiple markets, including currency exposure and exchanges
- Administer the flow of corporate actions including dividends, splits, mergers, IPOs, new issues and acquisitions
- Perform daily liquidity and position reconciliations and carry out statutory transaction reporting according to financial industry regulations
Requirements
- Academic degree in economics, finance or equivalent field
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Genuine interest in the financial market and its regulations
- Structured, proactive and thorough way of working with ability to handle deadlines
